AI Content & Development Disclosure
AI tools may assist Element Lookup with drafting, code, organization and quality-control work, but AI output is not treated as the authority for scientific facts or numeric data.
Where AI may assist
- Drafting or restructuring explanatory text and FAQs.
- Generating or refactoring code for shared interface components.
- Organizing research notes, QA matrices and release documentation.
- Helping identify inconsistencies, missing states or likely regressions for human/source review.
Where AI is not the scientific authority
Scientific values, evidence status, phase boundaries, isotope information, structures, geography and safety claims must be grounded in appropriate external sources and project QA. AI output alone is not accepted as provenance.
Review and release controls
AI-assisted changes are subject to the same build standard, source checks, exact-package QA and live/staging review as other changes. A technical PASS is not represented as independent expert or peer review.
No invented credentials
Element Lookup does not create fictional author, reviewer, laboratory or institutional credentials to make content appear more authoritative. If named reviewers or formal expert review are added in the future, those claims must be truthful and verifiable.
These pages document Element Lookup's current operating and editorial practices. They are not individualized legal advice. Laws and platform requirements vary by jurisdiction, so the site owner should obtain professional legal advice for business-specific obligations when appropriate.
